Rhuslancea's timeless and elegantly styled wedding venue is nestled in the pretty naturistic environment of the Hennopsriver Valley and brilliantly equipped to provide our wedding couples with the joyous and most memorable days of their lives.

All dressed up

Enjoying a meal on our luscious sun deck before starting preparations for your big event, whilst indulging in the views of the majestic Schurweberg mountains, sets the theme for relaxation like never before. All this in the anticipation of final preparations in one of our stylefully decorated chalets where brides are welcome to bring makeup artists and hairdressers.

The heart of every wedding is the ceremony. Our beautifully decorated Chapel Room sets the atmosphere for a delightful wedding occasion. The true warmth and atmosphere of Rhuslancea' thatched roofs not only provides an excellent backdrop for timeless memories, creates a welcoming environment that bring family and friends together in enormous spirit.

The time of your life

Of all the parties a couple gives for as long as they live, their wedding reception will be the most memorable. More than any other, this party must be gloriously decorated and flawlessly organized. But it will be the spontaneous moments that will forever define the day.

Just the two of you

Spend your night at Rhuslancea in the elegantly styled Honeymoon Suite, complete with sparkling wine and delicious snacks.

What we offer

Despite additions or alterations to personify your wedding day to perfection, our wedding packages offer the following as standard.

Our Chapel includes the following:

• Venue hire;
• Upholstered chairs;
• Chair covers and organza tie backs available in various colours;
• Podium with background draping;
• Kneel cushions;
• Red carpet;
• Register table; and
• Confetti consisting fresh or dried flowers.

Receptions include the following:

• Venue hire;
• Sherry fountain, complimented with Orange Juice;
• Dressed gifts table;
• Fully dressed brides table for up to 6 guests, decorated with matching organza;
• Dressed guest tables, chairs, high standard cutlery, crockery and glasses;
• A three course meal on a buffet, set menu or braai basis. We have a range of excellently designed menus available, however our fine chef would be delighted to compile a specific menu to meet your requirements; and
• Two bottles of Sparkling wine per table - one red & one white;
• Fully trained waiters and barmen.

Rhuslancea further offer the following as part of standard wedding packages:

• Complimentary snacks to the wedding couple during their photo shoot;
• The services of a professional, independently operated florist, up to date with the latest trends and fashion standards;
• High quality professional music performance during the service as well as the reception;
• Beautifully decorated honeymoon suite, complete with flowers, snacks and sparkling wine.

The following are examples of extra items, available at competitive pricing:

• Draping, organza and fairy lights;
• Decorative arches and stands;
• Candles;
• Small gifts for guests;
